Veneers
Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or composite cemented over the front of your teeth to change their color or shape. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or teeth that are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked.

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of porcelain, that are placed over the top of a tooth. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth's function and appearance following a restorative procedure such as a root canal. When decay has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth. If you have a missing tooth, we can close the gap in your smile with a bridge. A bridge is a false tooth (a pontic) that is held in place by abutment teeth on either side. Bridges can be made from a variety of materials but are typically made of porcelain to aesthetically blend in with your natural teeth.

Root Canal Therapy
Root canals are tiny passageways that branch off from beneath the top of the tooth, coursing their way vertically downward, until they reach the tip of the root. A root canal procedure becomes necessary when infection or inflammation develops in the pulp tissue of the tooth. Pulp tissue consists of blood vessels, connective tissue and nerve cells — which explains why a problem in this area may cause you to feel intense pain. In time, the pain may go away... at least temporarily. Without treatment, however, the infection won't. It can lead to a dental abscess, and may even contribute to systemic problems in other parts of the body.

Dental Emergencies
Dental emergencies can be distressing. A dental emergency includes bleeding or severe tooth pain. Missing, fractured or abscessed teeth also qualify as dental emergencies. In these cases, we want to act quickly to help you save your teeth. If you are in pain or experiencing distressing symptoms, please call our office. Our trained staff can gather the necessary information and make arrangements for you to be seen by the dentist.

Laser Dentistry
What are dentists currently using lasers for? These devices have been proven to help in the detection and treatment of oral diseases. They can be used for treating gum disease, detecting cancer, and pinpointing tooth decay in its earliest stages. They can precisely remove tissue, seal painful ulcerations like canker sores and even treat cavities and tooth decay. These advanced procedures can shorten your treatment time and make your visits virtually pain free.

Preventive Dentistry
Preventive dentistry describes all the procedures used to arrest tooth decay and other diseases in the earliest stages. Our goal is to keep you as healthy as possible and maintain your natural teeth for life. Preventive dentistry procedures range from the most basic services that have been used successfully for decades to recent technological innovations. These procedures include: cleanings, x-rays, periodontal maintenance sealants, laser decay diagnosis, oral cancer screenings, flouride treatments and much more.
